Simple Rules & Easy Forms

You qualify for a Thoroughbred Health Savings Account if you are enrolled in a qualified high-deductible health plan (HDHP).

Both you and your employer may contribute money to your Health Savings Account. Please check with us for the total contribution limits for this year. The contribution limit may change and depends on your policy coverage; whether it is an individual or family plan. You may also contribute an additional catch up contribution of $1,000 if you are age 55 or older and not enrolled in Medicare.

Contributions to your H.S.A. are tax free to individuals, and are considered pre-tax contributions in an employer provided plan.

Direct access to your funds when you need it

 

Access your account balance and your last 60 days transactions with Online Banking.  Check images for the past 60 days are also available.

Pay with your MasterCard® Debit Card or check.

 

Pay your medical expenses directly to your health care provider with the MasterCard Check Card or by writing a check, without added per transaction fees.

 

Easy to save, easy to access

 

Make periodic deposits by mailing us a check with your deposit slip, or set up automatic contributions from your checking account. We will mail you a monthly statement via USPS or e-mail documenting all deposits and disbursements.  Annually, we will provide you IRS form 5498 to document interest earnings, contributions, and disbursements.
